MortgageBrokers.com Holdings Inc. announced today the appointment of Canadian mortgage industry veteran Scott MacKenzie as MortgageBrokers.com regional vice president for the Atlantic Canada Region. MacKenzie is a seasoned financial services professional of more than 15 years.

Prior to joining MortgageBrokers.com, MacKenzie was regional manager for Interbay Funding Corp., where he successfully developed the company’s commercial mortgage business, achieving the quickest mortgage funding for a new territory in the company’s history. Previously, MacKenzie was a regional sales director-Atlantic region for Mortgage Intelligence (a GMAC company). Prior to Mortgage Intelligence, MacKenzie was business development manager for Bank of Nova Scotia.

MacKenzie holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Marketing from Saint Mary’s University, Halifax.
