(April 2 – 10:00) – The Ontario Securities Commission boasts 67 employees making more than $100,000, up from 38 in 1999. The top earner at the OSC is chairman David Brown, who made $540,000. Vice chair and former acting chair Jack Geller made just over $400,000. Vice chair Howard Wetston and executive director Charlie Macfarlane each made about $360,000.
The list of public sector salaries for Ontario employees making more than $100,000 is released annually.
The Financial Services Commission of Ontario has 11 employees who must disclose their pay, and none make as much as $200,000. FSCO Superintendent Dina Palozzi earned just under $180,000 as FSCO’s top earner.
