Mersch has joined the advisory
board of Washington-based online
auction house Bidhit.com Inc.
Mersch recently resurfaced
running a hedge fund as managing
partner of Casurina LP. He
made his name with years of
standout investment performance
running mutual funds at Altamira
Management Ltd. in the
mid-90’s.
His fall from grace came first
at the hands of a performance
downturn and then a regulatory
violation. He was banned from the
business for six months over his
involvement with a penny stock that
became market darling
Diamond Fields Resources Inc.
Bidit.com, an OTC Bulletin
Board-traded stock, says Mersch
“will provide Bidhit.com with the
benefit of his considerable
experience in matters pertaining to
the overall growth and development
of the company.”
