Donald Penny, a director of Jovian Capital Corporation and chairman of the publicly listed financial services firm’s audit committee, has been appointed to the Order of Canada for his tireless volunteering at Brandon University, the United Way, and many other organizations.
“It’s just something I needed to do,” said Penny, who is an accountant and a founding partner of Meyers, Norris, Penny, LLP. “I didn’t even stop to think about it.”
Penny will receive the award from Governor General Adrienne Clarkson.
