The Investment Funds Institute of Canada announced on Monday the appointment of Pat Dunwoody as vice president, member services and communications.

In this newly created position, Dunwoody will oversee member services, communications and statistics. Dunwoody has a number of years of experience in marketing, research and business analysis, most recently as vice president of market intelligence with International Financial Data Services.

Dunwoody has also worked in customer relationship management with what is now AIM Trimark Investments as well as Fidelity Investments Canada Ltd. and has worked with other major players in the mutual fund industry.
