Wall Street brokers use the bathroom less than any other white-collar profession during their working day, according to a recent study.

A study by New York-based ad agency DiMassimo Advertising, found that since the market slump, brokers and traders average only 1.2 visits per day to the bathroom, compared with an average 10.4 visits per day for lawyers. Brokers and traders were also five times more likely to experience a day with no bathroom visits than lawyers. Lawyers used the bathroom the most, while legal secretaries were second to brokers in the infrequency of their visits.

When asked why their bathroom use is so low, brokers said it’s not necessarily to make more money, but because they are fielding more calls from investors and that competition has become much more fierce.

Brokers are also much more likely to skip lunch than lawyers, and are least likely to have gotten any sun this summer.
