(March 28 – 12:555 ET) – Haywood Securities is opening a new branch in Calgary. The office will encompass both retail and institutional sales, research and corporate finance. The firm has been joined in Calgary by Paul Saks, formerly of Nesbitt Burns and David Mears, formerly of Scotia Capital in Calgary

Rick Paolone as been appointed head of Institutional Sales in the firm’s Toronto office. Paolone, a CFA, joins the firm following a 14-year career on the institutional desks of both National Bank Financial and First Marathon Securities.
