Michael Starzynski and Financial Models Company Inc. are parting ways. The provider of technology solutions and services to the investment world, has announced that the employment of their chief technology officer “has ended.”

His responsibilities have been taken over by FMC executive VP, Jim Colvin. Colvin joined FMC in 1980. He has diverse experience in many aspects of FMC’s operations, including management of FMC’s U.S. and European operations, and FMC’s software development group. Colvin has been instrumental in the development of several FMC products and services.

Colvin graduated from the University of Waterloo with a major in computer science, and a minor in business.
