The Canadian Business Hall of Fame Foundation today announced its 2002 laureate nominees. The three new members were announced at a luncheon in Toronto.
ScotiaBank Chairman and CEO Peter Godsoe, former Wood Gundy Chairman Charles Gundy (historical nominee), and the Honourable Henry (Hal) Jackman, will each be formally welcomed to the Canadian Business Hall of Fame at the 24th Annual Induction Ceremonies and Gala Dinner in Toronto on April 11, 2002.
The Foundation also hopes to announce prior to the April dinner a fourth laureate nominee, who is currently out of the country travelling and unable to confirm participation.
“It is an honour to recognize these three outstanding individuals for their significant and valuable contributions to the Canadian economy and way of life,” said chair of the Canadian Business Hall of Fame selection committee, Sir Graham Day, Chancellor of Dalhousie University in Halifax.
