(April 18 – 16:45 ET) – Philip J. Olsson is joining Altamira Investment Services Inc. as managing director, private equity. He will be responsible for building the company’s private equity business, says Alatmira in a press release.
Olsson has 20 years of experience encompassing a wide range of areas in the securities and banking business, including mergers and acquisitions, investment banking, and corporate finance, says Alatmira.
“Altamira has always been a significant investor in private companies through its own mutual funds and the Triax labour-sponsored funds,”Gordon Cheesbrough, president & CEO of Altamira, says in a press release. “Phil will develop this business for us, including the launch of specific funds that invest in private companies, especially in the technology sector.”
