AGF Management Ltd. today announced the appointment of Donald Lang to the board of directors. Lang is vice chairman and CEO of international consumer products packaging company CCL Industries Inc. (CCL) and has served as a CCL director for more than 15 years.

“Mr. Lang has a wealth of leadership experience, with almost two decades under his belt running a dynamic global company,” said Warren Goldring, chairman of AGF. “He brings practical skills and an international perspective to AGF’s board of directors.”

Lang is a 24-year veteran of CCL. He has worked with CCL’s corporate teams in North America and Europe and is responsible for more than 4,600 employees worldwide.

Lang serves on the board of ColepCCL (Portugal), S.A. and on the Board of Governors for Junior Achievement, an international non-profit organization dedicated to educating and inspiring young people about business and economics. He is also a member of the World Presidents’ Organization and has previously served as an Advisory Board Member for The Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario, from which he holds an Honours degree.
