Retrocom Growth Fund Inc. announced today Robert Blakely has been named chairman of the board, replacing Eryl Roberts who has resigned as a director of the fund due to personal employment commitments.
Blakely has been a director of the fund since 2001.
“On behalf of the Fund, I would like to thank Eryl Roberts for his tremendous leadership of Retrocom Growth Fund as chairman of the board for the past year and for his many contributions as a director since the fund’s inception in 1995,” said Blakely.
“I look forward to continuing to serve the shareholders as its new Chairman,” he added.
Retrocom Growth also announced that its board of directors has established a special committee comprised of Robert Blakely, Patrick Dillon, Robert Nash and James Henley. This committee will review and make recommendations regarding strategies available to the fund in its efforts to protect the value of the fund’s shares, including strategic asset divestitures, a merger or privatization of the fund, or a wind-up of the fund.
