(November 3 – 09:30 ET) – Rampart Securities Inc. has opened a new branch office in Thunder Bay, Ontario.

This s the third in a series of branch offices to be opened by Rampartin its drive to become a national firm. The Thunder Bay office is operated by Kevin Orr, formerly a broker with Goepel McDermid. Orr is the branch manager heading a team of four other brokers formerly with Goepel McDermid.

Rampart, based in Toronto, now boasts full branches in Thunder Bay, Calgary, and Fredericton, and an office in Pickering, Ont. It now has 93 brokers, and plans to expand to 100 within the next 12 months. The firm trades on the CDNX as Rampart Mercantile under the symbol “YRH.”
