Vancouver-based Nicola Wealth has partnered with Woodbridge, Ont.–based Stallion Financial Inc., the firm said in a release on Tuesday.

The deal was finalized on Jan. 1, 2021, and the integration of the two organizations has begun, the release said.

The partnership is part of Nicola’s ongoing strategy to grow its team of financial advisors and expand across Canada. Both firms serve high-net-worth families and entrepreneurs.

“We are delighted to welcome Stallion Financial to the Nicola Wealth family and have a second office in the Greater Toronto Area,” said David Sung, president of Nicola Wealth, in the release.

“Together, we can offer high-net-worth families and business owners the comprehensive plans they need to navigate their complex needs,” he said.

In November 2020, Nicola acquired Toronto-based Blackwood Partners, a real estate investment and asset management company, as a step toward offering real estate investments to high-net-worth clients.
