Montreal Exchange Inc. is launching the Derivatives Institute Learning Portal, with the help of DareStep, a division of Cap Gemini Ernst & Young.

The portal will provide information and training courses on derivatives. Initially, the site will provide introductory courses on derivatives to educate individual investors as well as accreditation courses to industry professionals.

Later, the Institute will offer courses on portfolio management strategies, the steps involved in implementing these strategies as well as the operational support necessary to ensure that proper controls are put in place.
