Hub Financial Inc., the largest managing general agency in Canada, along with its affiliate mutual fund dealership, Hub Capital, today unveiled a new organizational structure, which integrates the life and investment divisions to support continued growth.

Effective immediately John Lutrin will assume the role of executive vp and chief marketing officer for the entire company, including all product lines. All regional vice presidents will report directly to Lutrin.

Jeff Botosan becomes of executive vp and chief operations officer. Botosan will be responsible for operations, finance, human resources, and information technology. He will work to streamline systems and operating procedures across all product lines.

Hub Financial says the new structure eliminates the barrier that previously existed between the life, living benefits, wealth management and health and welfare trust divisions.

In announcing the changes Terri DiFlorio, president of Hub Financial, says, “We have now arrived”. Hub Financial has evolved as the result of the amalgamation of over 15 separate MGA’s into one unified company, now with a single identity, common objective and uniform mandate.

“The integration of our life and investment marketing teams, as well as product administration systems is very exciting,” says DiFlorio, “and will ultimately required to make this the best place for our brokers to conduct their business.”

In other appointments, Cheryl Hamilton becomes vp and chief compliance officer, and Jamie McGeachin becomes vp, operations.
