(October 31 – 11:35 ET) – Women in Capital Markets and Women in Motion are partnering to present the “Capital Ideas Conference for Young Women”, to educate young women about career opportunities in the capital markets.
The conference is an opportunity for young women in Grades 10 and 11 to hear from women working every day in the capital markets. Delegates will learn what a career in capital markets is all about and what they need to know to succeed.
The keynote speaker is actor Sonja Smits from the TV series “Traders.” Attendees must be registered by WCM members or employees of the sponsoring firms: BMO Nesbitt Burns; TD Securities Inc.; CIBC World Markets; Scotia Capital; Merrill Lynch; and RBC Dominion Securities.
The conference is running tomorrow from 09:00 to 16:00 ET at the Colony Hotel in Toronto.
