(April 2 – 15:50 ET) – Canada Life Assurance Co. has added three new segregated funds, managed by Laketon Investment Management Ltd., to its Flexible Investment Contract.
The three new funds, the Canadian Premium Growth Equity Fund, American Premium Growth Equity Fund, and the EAFE Fund, increase the number of funds available under the Flex Contract to twelve. These funds will also become available under Canada Life’s other seg fund contract, Generations, once regulatory approvals have been granted.
“Adding new funds to our segregated fund products underscores Canada Life’s commitment to providing competitive and diverse wealth management products,” said Phil Marsillo, vice president, individual distribution operations at Canada Life.
All funds that are available under the Flex contract are managed exclusively by Laketon Investment Management.
“We are pleased to partner with Canada Life, once again, to offer investors even more opportunities to diversify their portfolio in terms of growth and foreign markets. We are especially excited about the addition of our Premium Growth funds to Canada Life’s excellent lineup,” said Terry Reid, president of Laketon Investment Management Ltd.
