(December 14 – 11:25 ET) – Clarica’s web site has been recognized with an Outstanding Web Site Award in the International Web Marketing Awards Competition. The site was launched in July in conjunction with the company’s name change and conversion to a stock company.
“Our web site is a vital source of information for customers and other users,” said Janet Passmore, Vice-President, Marketing and Corporate Communications. “We developed this site as a living reflection of our brand, and to support our name change to Clarica. Ensuring the site is friendly, open, accessible and easy to navigate has been key to our site’s success.”
Caught in the Web Inc., an Internet customer solutions company with offices in Toronto and New York, partnered with Clarica in the overall development of the site. The Clarica U.S. web presence was developed in parallel and in support of the company’s brand. “Customers and other users can click seamlessly across borders and enjoy the same brand experience throughout,” said Passmore.
Over 700 sites from around the world including the U.S., Hong Kong, Singapore, South Africa, U.K and France were judged during this year’s competition. Entries were evaluated based on design, innovation, content, interactivity, navigation, ease of use, and use of technology.
