Canadian Association of Insurance
and Financial Advisors elected it’s
national board of directors for the
1999/2000 year at the association’s
annual general meeting in
Vancouver. The 25-member board of
industry and association leaders,
headed by chair Jim Rogers, will
dedicate its term to broadening the
base of the association’s
membership and to raising the
education and qualification
levels of all financial
advisors.

association. Its 18,000 members
provide financial advice, and
market and sell products from many
types of financial institution in
Canada.
CAIFA members sell the majority
of life and health insurance
products in Canada. Many of these

and mutual funds.
