(February 1 – 10:40 ET) – Sun Life Assurance Co of Canada is announcing a strategic partnership with Intuit Canada Ltd. Consumers who purchase Intuit’s QuickTax software will now get easy access to Sun Life Financial’s wealth management products and services.

Under the arrangement, QuickTax incorporates a direct link to Sun Life Financial’s innovative Personal Financial Services Web site — where customers can conveniently do their own online research to meet a variety of personal financial services needs, as well as get in touch with an advisor. The link also provides Sun Life Financial Group Retirement plan members the ability to “top-up” their RRSPs online.
