(September 18 – 14:20) – The Jacks Institute is launching its redeveloped web site at www.jackstax.com. The trainer of professionals in the tax and financial services industry says students can now view detailed course descriptions online, register and pay for their courses online, and receive delivery electronically.
The Web site now hosts the ability to register online for any or all of the Institute’s many course offerings, including secure server payment options. In addition, students may download many of the courses and related software directly to their computers, eliminating the need to wait for course materials to be sent to them. Students can register for and begin courses at any time, and final examinations can now be e-mailed directly to the Institute for grading.
“We want to bring the convenience and interactivity of the Internet to our Institute’s operations,” said Evelyn Jacks, resident of The Jacks Institute. “We currently offer sixteen different courses on tax and financial issues, all of which are now available for registration through our improved Internet site.”
The institute says most courses include a software component, featuring leading brands of tax and financial software, so students learn theory and practical application at the same time. It says the training versions of CANTAX and Taxprep tax preparation software that are provided with the Institute’s tax courses are first-to-market training programs, featuring draft Year 2000 tax forms and calculations based on the latest Federal Budget.
The Web site also features the ability to become a “Preferred Campus Visitor.” Once registered, visitors will have a special “My Jacks” page created for them, where they can access tax news, tax tips, special course promotions, and cybercoupons featuring discounts on selected products and services.
