(September 6 – 12:40 ET) – The Investor Learning Centre of Canada (ILC) is launching the new fall season of its popular Intelligent Investing Level 1 and 2 seminars offered across the country.

“Becoming a smarter investor has never been easier,” says Carolyn Morris, Communications Manager for the ILC “Intelligent Investing will help Canadians learn all about their finances and lead them to improve their investment decisions.” Held in over 50 communities across Canada, Intelligent Investing is Canada’s only non-promotional investment education seminar series. The new season begins this September with courses offered through to December.

Intelligent Investing Level 1 is designed for novice investors and will take them through the basics of investing covering stocks, bonds, mutual funds, RRSPs and much more. Level 1 costs $175 and consists of six two and one-half hour seminars held weekly.

Level 2 consists of weekly two and one-half hour seminars lasting six weeks and is for more experienced investors. The Level 2 course raises the knowledge levels of investors and includes real-life exercises on such topics as company and stock analysis, alternatives to mutual funds and portfolio management. The cost for the Level 2 seminar is $200.

The courses are taught by senior investment professionals, licensed and trained by the ILC, who are bound by a strict code of conduct to keep the seminars completely non-promotional. Interested investors can call 1-888-452-5566 or enrol online at www.investorlearning.ca.
