Manulife Bank of Canada has made its new account aggregation service available to all of its Internet Banking clients, free of charge. Secure View allows customers to consolidate their online account balance information from various financial institutions while maintaining their privacy.

The security of financial information is paramount for clients. Manulife Bank chose technology developed by OnX Enterprise Solutions Inc. which enables clients to maintain control over their password and account information from various financial institutions. With Secure View, all data is downloaded and stored on the customer’s computer. In contrast, many other account aggregation services store client information on a centralized server.

Secure View uses 128-bit encryption in the downloading and storage of all financial information. This provides one of the highest levels of data security available today.

Once clients have added accounts to be aggregated, only one password is required to view their personal account information. This provides easy access to current financial information at any time, help them manage daily banking as well as plan for the future with the assistance from their financial advisor. And Secure View is available free of charge to all Manulife Bank Internet Banking clients.
