(January 24 – 11:40 ET) – Montreal Exchange Inc. is ready for the launch of single stock futures, also known as share futures. Trading will begin January 31, on Nortel Networks Corp., subject to regulatory approval.
The new contract, which will carry the symbol “FNT”, will be traded on SAM, the Exchange’s new electronic trading platform. With the launch of this new product, the ME provides investors with a broadened range of derivative products.
