CI Global Asset Management (CI GAM) has announced the appointment of six portfolio managers to a number of dividend and Canadian equities funds.

Peter Hofstra, Bryan Brown, Danesh Rohinton, Bunty Mahairhu, Greg Quickmire and Jeremy Rosa have been appointed managers of a number of funds (see the press release for full details).

Each manager was previously a member of CI GAM’s legacy boutique investment teams. In November, the firm announced it was integrating its in-house boutiques —Cambridge Global Asset Management, Harbour Advisors, Sentry Investment Management and Signature Global Asset Management — under the CI GAM brand.

“We believe the transition to an integrated platform, with its increasingly free flow of information and exchange of research and insights among our investment professionals, has contributed to the improving relative performance of CI funds in recent quarters,” Kurt MacAlpine, CEO of CI Financial, CI GAM’s parent company, said in the release.

Bios of each portfolio manager can be found in CI GAM’s release.
