Optimum General Inc. on Friday appointed Louis Pontbriand as senior vice president and CFO of the company.

“Mr. Pontbriand brings with him a vast experience of the property and casualty insurance business in Canada and he will be reinforcing our top management in the preparation, analysis and disclosure of financial information” commented Jean-Claude Page, vice chairman of the board and CEO.

The previous CFO, Andre Nadon, remains as senior vice president of the Optimum General, becomes the designated valuation actuary of all its subsidiaries.
