The Financial Services Commission of Ontario has appointed a new member to its Financial Services Tribunal.
Kevin Ashe has been appointed to the tribunal for a three-year term. Ashe has over 16 years experience in the group insurance field and currently serves as vice president, marketing and sales at Mosey & Mosey Benefit Plan Consultants.
In addition to his role on the Financial Services Tribunal, Ashe is also vice chair of the Durham Region Police Services Board and chair of the Board’s Bargaining Committee. He also serves as chair of the City of Pickering’s Committee of Adjustment.
The Financial Services Tribunal is an independent adjudicative body composed of anywhere from 9 to 15 members. Ashe’s appointment brings the number of Tribunal members to 13.
