Great-West Life & Annuity Insurance Co. today announced that Bill McCallum will retire as President and CEO on Dec. 31, 2005, after a distinguished 41-year career with Great-West.

McCallum has been appointed vice chairman of the board of Great-West Life & Annuity effective Jan. 1, 2006 and will continue as a director of Great-West Life & Annuity, and as a director of Great-West Lifeco.

Raymond McFeetors has been appointed president and CEO of Great-West Life & Annuity effective Jan. 1, 2006.

McFeetors will continue to serve as president and CEO of The Great-West Life Assurance Co., London Life Insurance Co., and The Canada Life Assurance Co., as well as Great-West Lifeco Inc.

Two other senior management appointments were also announced, effective immediately. William Acton, currently executive vp, Europe is appointed president and COO, Europe.

Denis Devos, currently executive vice president, individual insurance & investment products, is appointed president and COO, Canada.
