(March 16 – 15:50 ET) – Industrial Alliance, Insurance and Financial Services has launched its extranet for group annuity representatives.

The new secure Web site provides reps with direct access to their clients’ accounts together with financial information concerning plan members. Reps will be able to carry out transactions in the accounts of members of different plans and provide them with more customized services. The extranet will also allow reps to obtain financial information, such as current interest rates or yields on different investment funds.

The extranet offers reps all the tools needed for the sale and management of pension plans, and lets them consult a documentation centre containing a wealth of forms, guides and brochures.

“The addition to our Web site of a representative’s extranet is part of a strategy aimed at providing additional support for all representatives so that they can offer service that meets and even exceeds client expectations,” said Daniele Bannon, director, group pension administrative services.

According to Mr. Bannon, Industrial Alliance already does a very good job of facilitating the work of its group pension representatives through its regional offices located in Moncton, Quebec City, Montreal and Toronto. A regional office sales support team helps representatives in promoting products, enhancing the sales process and meeting client service expectations. The extranet complement to the reps’ existing support.
