Toronto-based Fidelity Investments Canada ULC has launched its first suite of ETFs. The six ETFs are factor-based and focused on dividends. Fidelity Canadian High Dividend Index ETF invests in an index focused on 60 dividend-paying, high-quality Canadian companies. Fidelity U.S. Dividend for Rising Rates Index ETF and Fidelity U.S. Dividend Rising Rates Currency Neutral Index ETF follow an index that targets 100 U.S. stocks with a positive correlation of returns to increases in the U.S. 10-year T-bill yield. Fidelity U.S. High Dividend Index ETF and Fidelity U.S. High Dividend Currency Neutral Index ETF follow an index focused on 100 dividend-paying U.S. companies. Fidelity International High Dividend Index ETF follows an index targeting 100 dividend-paying equities listed outside Canada and the U.S. The ETFs’ indices were designed by Boston-based Fidelity Management and Research Co.’s quantitative research team.
