(November 16 – 11:30 ET) – Bank of Nova Scotia will become the first major Canadian bank to give telephone access to retail investors on a listen-only basis for its fourth quarter analyst conference call on December 6.

The conference call will take place at 15:00 ET. Retail investors will be able to join the conference call on a listen-only basis by calling (416) 640-4120 between 14:45 ET and 14:55 ET.

A replay of the conference call will be available from December 6 to December 20 by calling (416) 640-1917 and using the following identification code: 72574(Pound key).

A live audio webcast of the conference will also be carried on the bank’s Web site, http://www.scotiabank.com. It will be archived on the Web site one hour after the meeting ends.
