RBC Global Services today announced the appointment of John Lockbaum as head, fund services for Canada. In this newly created role, Lockbaum will serve the Canadian marketplace for RBC Global Services as business leader, Fund Services.

Lockbaum brings to this position more than 20 years of management experience in the financial services industry. Most recently, he was senior vp and managing director at ING Wealth Management in Toronto, responsible for the retail Canadian mutual fund and mutual fund dealership businesses. His accomplishments include the creation and launch of ING’s mutual funds business in Canada.

Lockbaum’s industry experience also includes 15 years in progressively senior positions with TD Canada Trust, culminating in his role as avp wealth management integration.
