Veteran financial services executive Charles Guay is the new president and chief operation officer at SuccessFinder, the Montreal-based human resources technology company announced on Wednesday.

Guay, who has been working with SuccessFinder as a strategic consultant since early spring 2018, will officially join the company, effective Sept. 4. He will also be a partner and member of the company’s board of directors.

SuccessFinder helps organizations of all sizes and industries significantly improve their agility and efficiency at recruiting, developing and promoting their talent.

“Charles has been contributing to the development and execution of the company’s growth plan for several months. His priority will be to continue to articulate our go-to-market strategies in North America to significantly increase our presence, impact and revenues,” said Ronald Dahms, chairman and CEO, in a statement.

“Our long-term opportunity is global. We believe that we have the ability to become a global leader in ‘HR tech’. I could not ask for a better partner than Charles to maximize and accelerate the achievement of this goal.”

Guay was president and CEO of National Bank Securities, Standard Life Canada and Manulife Quebec, before he founded his own strategic consulting firm in 2016.

He sits on several boards of directors, including Pomerleau, AGF Management and the CHU Sainte-Justine Foundation.
