Toronto-based RF Capital Group Inc. has appointed Natalie Bisset as senior vice-president, head of corporate development with wealth management subsidiary Richardson Wealth Ltd.

In the newly created position, Bisset will spearhead recruitment initiatives, strategic partnerships and acquisitions, the firm said in a release on Wednesday. 

Bisset has over 15 years’ experience spanning wealth management, private equity, business development and stakeholder relations, the release said. She joins Richardson Wealth from BMO where she previously held positions as director, innovation and strategic initiatives; and senior partner, business acquisition in private wealth.

“We are thrilled that Natalie has chosen to join the talented leadership team at Richardson Wealth at such a critical juncture in our growth story,” said RF Capital president and CEO Kish Kapoor, in the release. “Her appointment will supercharge our recruiting objectives and lays the groundwork for pursuing partnerships and acquisitions of like-minded firms.”

RF Capital has announced a number of key hires in recent months in support of its broader growth strategy.

Earlier this summer, the firm appointed Jan Sampson as director of operations for Richardson Wealth and Christina Clement as vice-president, practice growth and execution. In April, Dean Manjuris joined as vice-chairman of Richardson Wealth.

Earlier this year Tim Wilson joined RF Capital as chief financial officer and Julie Burnham joined as vice-president of strategic communications for Richardson Wealth.
