Moncton, N.B.–based Assumption Life has appointed Luc Bossé as vice-president of sales and marketing, the firm said in a release on Tuesday.
Bossé has more than 30 years’ experience in the insurance and financial services industry, and has held various positions within SSQ Insurance, Shepell FGI, Great-West Lifeco, Canada Life and TD Canada Trust.
For the past decade, Bossé has been regional vice-president of business development for Central and Eastern Canada, Individual Insurance and Retirement, with SSQ Insurance in Quebec.
His expertise will enable Assumption Life to achieve its “ambitious growth objectives,” the release said.
The firm has a three-year strategic plan that will be “decisive for the development of its business and for its growth in a constantly changing market,” Bossé said in the release. “I am very happy to be able to collaborate in its implementation.”
The appointment is effective Sept. 8, 2020.
