- Glenn Josselyn and Peter Flemming have joined Wellington-Altus as senior investment advisors, departing from RBC Dominion Securities after 25 years. Josselyn is also a senior portfolio manager. They bring with them Peter Josselyn, senior investment advisor and portfolio manager, and James Flemming, investment advisor and portfolio manager. The team is based in Saint John, N.B.
- Sumit Grover, senior wealth advisor and financial planner, and Sunisha Dhillon, senior wealth advisor, have joined Designed Wealth Management. Grover was previously with Sun Life for five years as an advisor, and for more than a decade before that in various roles, including director of capital strategy, planning and reporting. Dhillon was also an advisor at Sun Life for 10 years in all.
- Warren Jones has joined Harbourfront Wealth Management as vice-president (VP) of strategic partnerships. Jones has more than three decades of experience in financial services and spent 18 years with Scotiabank in senior roles within its global wealth management business, including as VP, operations. After leaving the bank in 2023, he worked for Deloitte Consulting, then started his own consultancy.
- Guillaume Roux has been promoted to regional VP, financial planning, Quebec at BMO Financial Group. He was named market leader, financial planning in 2018. Roux has held various positions with BMO Financial and BMO Wealth Management Canada since 2008, including in sales, human resources and as a branch manager.
- Richard Lowassa has joined Worldsource Wealth Management as director of business development. He was previously with CI Global Asset Management for seven years, including three in business development.
- Audrey Kim has been named director, ETF capital markets at Fidelity Canada. Over the past six years she’s worked in several investment analyst roles, including as a senior analyst in ETF capital markets.
- Jamie Kingston has joined Harp Family Enterprise Advisors at RBC Dominion Securities as a team operations manager. He previously spent close to 25 years with Invesco Ltd. in senior positions across product management, investment analysis and business strategy, including head of business strategy and development, alternatives.
- Richard Anton has joined Broadridge Financial Solutions, Inc. as general manager and head of global technology and operations for Canada. He brings more than 30 years of financial services experience, including 12 years in senior roles at CIBC Mellon, where he had recently been promoted to chief commercial officer and head of capital markets. He will succeed Chad Alderson, who is moving from the general manager role to Broadridge’s global sales and marketing organization as a premium account leader.
- Richard Tse has been appointed vice-chair, investment banking, technology at National Bank of Canada Capital Markets. He spent more than 25 years in equity research at National Bank Financial, Cormark Securities and Merrill Lynch.
- Lily Cukier has joined the board of the Pension Investment Association of Canada. She’s associate director, investment operations with the University Pension Plan Ontario and brings previous experience with Investment Management Corp. of Ontario and Morningstar.
- Paul Martiniello has been appointed executive vice-president, pensions at the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario. He joined the regulator six years ago and most recently was head of prudential supervision. He has more than 30 years of industry experience, including as VP, pension services at OMERS, as director of pensions-international wealth management at Scotiabank and with CEM Benchmarking Inc.
- Steven Guilbeault has been named an executive advisor on climate, biodiversity and socioecological transition at Fondaction and of the Bâtirente and Fondaction Combination, a Quebec-based labour-sponsored fund and group retirement plan. Guilbeault is a former federal environment minister and member of parliament.
