Canaccord Genuity Group Inc. is expanding its U.K. footprint with a deal announced Wednesday to acquire EFG Harris Allday.

The wealth manager, which serves affluent U.K. clients, has roughly £3.1 billion in client assets under management. It’s currently owned by EFG Private Bank, part of EFG International. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The acquisition will give EFG Harris Allday advisors access to expanded capabilities and infrastructure, Canaccord said in a release, while their clients will gain access to a broader range of wealth planning advice and investment solutions.

It will also fortify Canaccord Wealth’s position as a leading integrated wealth manager in the U.K., it said.

EFG Harris Allday generated annual revenue of £20.3 million in the year ended Dec. 31, 2025.

The acquisition is expected to close in the second half of the year.

After media reports last fall that Canaccord was considering selling its U.K. wealth business, it confirmed that it “routinely” evaluated strategic initiatives. HPS Investment Partners, LLC, which was acquired by BlackRock, Inc. in 2025, is a minority owner and strategic partner in its U.K. wealth business.
