(March 1 – 15:10 ET) – The Canada Customs and Revenue Agency is getting a facelift. Martin Cauchon , Minister of National Revenue, launched a new corporate identity for CCRA today

The launch event was part of the Second National Symposium on Fairness. The symposium, organized by the Conference Board of Canada, is reviewing the progress that the CCRA has made in implementing it fairness program, Setting a New Standard: A 7-Point Plan for Fairness.

Cauchon noted that one of the actions set out in the plan, released in February 1999 addressed the need for improved communications with CCRA clients.

The new corporate identity presents CCRA clients with a unified and consistent design approach for information products, Cauchon said. The graphic identity is intended to reinforce the CCRA’s commitment to improve communications with its clients.

“The new corporate identity underlines the CCRA’s new commitment to client service and will help reinforce its slogan More Ways to Serve You,” said Cauchon.

The new design approach will be applied to CCRA publications, advertising, Internet applications, and other communications materials.
