An office move

Separately, IG Wealth announced its intentions to relocate its head office in Winnipeg. It plans to sell its current building at 447 Portage Ave. and rent office space in a building on 360 Main St.

The “approach [is] consistent with IG’s office footprint in other markets, where the firm does not own its office spaces,” it said in a release on Thursday.

The multi-year move is expected to take place in stages until mid-2028.

This story contains a correction: The number of IG Wealth advisor practices increased this year, and both the 2026 and 2025 figures have been updated.
