York University’s Schulich School of Business is launching a new course that aims to impart the early lessons from the Covid-19 crisis.

The Toronto-based school announced that it will be offering a novel, inter-disciplinary course on leadership lessons from the pandemic across the fields of strategy, marketing, real estate and sustainability.

The course will examine the effects of the pandemic on consumers, the economy, government and other organizations.

“Students taking this course will have the opportunity to learn important personal, organizational, and societal leadership lessons,” said Ashwin Joshi, associate professor of marketing and director of Schulich’s MBA program.

While the course is open for credit to all students and alumni, it will also be made available to the public, with lectures posted on YouTube.
