Target Audience

Designed for seasoned financial advisors working in complex markets with individuals, families and small business owners. While the aim is to attract those financial advisors holding a CFP® and/or CLU®, newer advisors have always benefited from the collaborative format of the in-depth discussions.

 Format

A webinar featuring four (30-minute) videotaped interviews with industry experts moderated by a credentialed Advocis member. Each interview is followed by a (90-minute) discussion activity to reinforce an area or areas addressed during the interview.

  • Strategies for Clients who are Retired or Planning for Retirement
  • Estate Planning for Small Business Owners
  • The Emotionally Intelligent Advisor

These four learning areas, identified for Update 2020, meet the over-arching learning objective for this annual education program: To keep CFP® and CLU® designated advisors current on important technical concerns and client-facing issues impacting financial planning today.
