Clarica’s group insurance product for small business is now available on its web-based quoting service. The company says the move is a first in the group insurance industry.

“As other insurers are added, this will be extremely efficient quoting process for brokers and agents. Application and enrolment forms are also on the site and automatically pre-filled Ð another time-saver. We’re pleased to be working with Global IQX on this initiative,” says Jack Reynolds, Clarica’s VP, Group Small Business.

Over the next few weeks, the ÔConnect InsureÕ website will begin providing access to products from a variety of carriers. Greenshield has also signed on to offer small group product quotes on Connect Insure.

Connect Insure is a web-based application powered by the Global IQX Insurance Quotation Exchange Engine (IQX(TM)). It provides plan advisors, brokers and other certified benefit planners the access to an instant free quoting service, available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
