Unity Life of Canada is launching of XpressInsure — a new online service for its insurance distributors and their clients.

Consumers can purchase term insurance and critical illness insurance by answering a brief series of questions online and their policy will be sent out within 48 hours!

“Our new Internet fulfilment site is another way in which Unity Life is making it easy for our distributors and their clients to do business with us,” affirms Tony Poole, Unity Life’s senior vice president, Sales and Marketing.

Unity was created by amalgamating Toronto Mutual Life Insurance Co. and The Western Life Assurance Co.

The service features an easy to use interface through which clients can purchase up to $250,000 of Unity Life’s new E-Z Term plan, or up to $100,000 of the company’s critical illness plan, Health Security Plus. Additional customer support is available via a call centre staffed by experienced customer service associates.

The company says its distributors — especially those with a rural client base and those working with affinity groups or mass marketing — have warmly received the online application process.

Brokers simply direct their clients to the site at www.unitylife.ca/XpressInsure where the client can apply on their own.

XpressInsure was developed by GeniSystems.ca Services Inc., a software development specialist for the life insurance industry.
