On Friday, StatsCan reports on international merchandise trade data for September. A surplus of $3.9 billion is expected.

On Wednesday, the U.S. Commerce Department reports on wholesale inventories for September. Economists expect a gain of 0.2% from the previous month.
The U.S. Federal Reserve Board reports on consumer credit in September. Economists expect an increase of US$8.9 billion.
On Thursday, the U.S. Department of Labor reports on initial jobless claims for the week ended Nov. 3. Economists forecast 325,000 claims.
On Friday, the U.S. Department of Commerce reports on the trade balance data for September. Economists expect a deficit of US$58.5 billion.
