(November 10 – 12: 35 ET) – Scotiabank is unveiling Scotia One Service . It offers customers streamlined access to a wide array of banking services — from safety deposit boxes to day-to-day banking and borrowing needs — all for one monthly fee.
Designed to provide a total banking solution, the new service provides customers:
-day-to-day banking services including a personal chequing account with a preferred interest rate and up to 100 transactions per month, commission-free travelers cheques, free bill payments, free stop payments, free money orders and drafts and free certified cheques;
-credit services including the new ScotiaLine VISA, a no fee ScotiaGold VISA, a preferred rate on ScotiaLine personal line of credit and the choice of Cash Back or a preferred interest rate on new and switched mortgages;
-investments services including a no fee self-directed registered (RRSP/RRIF) account with ScotiaMcLeod or Scotia Discount Brokerage and preferred rates on GICs
For $25 dollars a month, this new service also includes a free safety deposit box at a Scotiabank branch, an exclusive personalized phone service, and a Platinum ScotiaCard, the customer’s key to banking by Internet, telephone, ABMs and INTERAC direct payment.
