Altamira Investment Services said Tuesday that Greg Reed is resigning as president and CEO of the company and as a senior vice president of National Bank of Canada.
The bank said Reed’s duties at the investment services company are being assumed by Charles Guay, president and COO of National Bank Securities, effective immediately.
No reason was given for Reed’s departure.
The Montreal-based bank said in a statement that Guay, who joined NBS in 2001, “acquired solid investment management and business development experience through a fast-track career path that included positions as a futures trader, stockbroker and, finally, district vice-president at Fidelity Investments.”
Guay, 32, will continue in his position at NBS.
