The Commission des valeurs mobilières du Québec announced this afternoon that it ratified the Canadian Venture Exchange’s request to conduct its activities in Montreal.

To this effect, all currently listed companies on Bourse de Montréal Inc. will be shortly transferred to the CDNX.

On September 28, Bourse de Montréal Inc. will cease to operate as an equity stock exchange.

On October 1, eligible companies that have filed complete CDNX applications by September 7, will commence trading on CDNX.
