(November 3 – 17:00 ET) – The Mutual Fund Dealers Association is looking for staff. The MFDA is seeking staffers for numerous positions including two regional directors, three compliance managers, and 12 compliance officers.
The regional directors would belong to the senior management team, reporting to chief operating officer, Larry Waite. The directors will be responsible for compliance, enforcement, and policy development within a designated region. The MFDA is looking to fill positions in the Pacific and Prairie regions, located in Vancouver and Calgary.
Compliance officers will perform field examinations of members as well as the review of regulatory filings in accordance with MFDA rules. It is looking for people with a degree in business or accounting experience and at least 2-3 years’ experience within the industry.
The compliance managers will be responsible for managing a team of compliance officers, planning, scheduling, and executing compliance examinations, supervising employees on examination assignments, and reviewing working papers. Only professional accounting designation holders with audit experience at a management level and familiarity with industry issues need apply.
