Peters & Co. Limited announced the appointment of Christopher Potter as president of the firm, subject to regulatory approval.

Potter succeeds Ian Bruce as president of Peters & Co. Bruce will continue as the firm’s chief executive officer. Potter was most recently managing director, corporate finance. He holds a B.Comm. degree from the University of Calgary and is a CFA charterholder.

The firm also announced the appointment of Cameron Plewes as managing director, corporate finance, subject to regulatory approval. Plewes previously served as a principal in the corporate finance group of Peters & Co. He also holds a B.Comm. from the University of Calgary, and is a chartered accountant, a chartered business valuator and a CFA charterholder.

The firm’s management team now comprises: Bruce as CEO; Potter as president; Michael Tims as chairman; Andrew Boland is managing director, research; Mitchell Molloy is managing director, trading; Ron Wigham is managing director, capital markets; Plewes is managing director, corporate finance; and, Holly Benson is vice president, finance & chief financial officer.
